1946 Schwinn B6 Restoration

Today we are showcasing a fully restored 1946 Schwinn B6 bicycle, we just completed this bike for the original owner. The Schwinn B6 would later become the Schwinn Black Phantom in 1949. The bike is 80% original and came to us in great condition, even the handle bar grips are original. We replaced the two dropside rims, spokes, pedals and the light tray in the headlight due to heavy corrosion. We take great care to get everything correct, from the paint, metal work and pin striping. We are currently rebuilding the original speedometer for the bike. Notice the original Schwinn plane-train head badge common for bikes from the 40’s, and the reupholstered leather seat done in house. We hope you enjoy this project as much as we did completing it.
